Internet retailing value sales in Italy continued to grow at a double-digit rate in current terms in 2016, with the channel appealing to consumers of all ages. Italy, however, is moving at two different speeds. While in the north, particularly around Milan, consumers can have products delivered within a few hours of ordering, in rural areas they have to wait much longer.
